Avoid repetitive motion injuries by improving the interface of the worker to their workstation to maximize efficiency and productivity by utilizing applied ergonomic principles!

Ergonomics is the science of designing the workstation to fit within the capabilities, limitations, and anthropometics of the worker. Anthropometry is the science that defines physical measures of a person’s size, form, and functional capacities. Applied to occupational injury prevention, anthropometric measurements are used to study the interaction of workers with tasks, tools, machines, vehicles, and personal protective equipment — especially to determine the degree of protection against dangerous exposures, whether chronic or acute. Designs that are incompatible with normal anthropometric measurements of a workforce may result in unwanted incidents, such acute and/or chronic repetitive motions injuries.

The goal of applied ergonomics is to design your workstation, so that it fits you and allows for a comfortable working environment for maximum productivity and efficiency. An ergonomic evaluation and task analysis is done with you at your workstation performing your dally tasks in order to determine any risk factors due to the mismatch of interfacing with all of your equipment at work and/or home that may be causing acute or chronic cumulative trauma injuries over time. This way modifications can be implemented in order to enhance your workspace to keep you injury free, comfortable, and more productive.

Sign up for your ergonomic evaluation in order to get your workstation working for you and get the training you need on workstation design  and office ergonomics, so that you  know to effectively make the right decisions for your workplace each day you come to work or work from home, and make sure that you are optimized for comfort and efficiency.
